EXPLANATION OF THE ABOVE "FISH RATING" SYSTEM

???....means that there will be no info provided until after the MWC, sorry!

Poor.....just what it says....poor, not much going on, scattered, spotty, and small (under 14")

Fair......Fish are being taken but generally under 14" and widely scattered. No size being reported.

Good....Fish are "bunching up" and being caught with reports of 2 lb. fish coming in with regularity.

Great....Fish are being caught almost everywhere with reports of "3 lbs.+" being taken by all reporting parties. This means that your "significant other" could go out and catch a limit and still be home in time to watch the noon football game.

PRODUCTIVE TECHNIQUES: Most of the fishermen have been "jigging" but reports have come in that the "trollers" have also been producing fish.

Check out our new CALENDAR OF EVENTS page...meeting dates and "stuff".

If you have been fishing on the Illinois River, please e-mail us at walleye1@ivnet.com and give us your report.
