| This event allows the Walleye Club to donate
$3,500.00 to the Hall Township dredging fund. Without this annual
contribution the Hall Township Board would be forced charge a "user fee"
to everyone that puts their boat in at the landing.
We ask that each Club member help us out and buy at least one
raffle ticket!

Event #4
Boy Scout Fishing Day
Date: Saturday, October 27th
Location: Barto Landing - Spring Valley, IL.
Fishing Time: 8:00 a.m. to Noon
The Spring Valley Walleye Club
takes the Boy Scouts (and parents, Scout Masters, helpers, etc.) out on an
annual fishing day on the Illinois River. We fish for "anything" that will
bite!!!
For this event we usually need
(at least) 15 boats. Once the day is over the Club invites the Scouts and the
boat Captains back to the Spring Valley Bar & Grill for a full lunch.
This also is the time to tell all of the fish stories of the day!
There is no expense to the
Scouts. The Club
members provide the boat, bait, tackle.
The entire lunch is provided by the Club itself.
EVENT #5
(14th ANNUAL)
"MEMBER'S ONLY" TOURNAMENT
This is always
held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
2008 membership dues must be paid by November 1st,
2008
in order to participate in this event.........no exceptions!!!
(Dues is still only $5.00)
ENTRY FEE: $50.00 PER TEAM (If you enter before
Nov. 20th)
$100.00 per team if you enter after Nov. 20th
1st Place = $600.00
2nd Place = $250.00
3rd Place = $150.00
Big Fish = $????.00
(payout is based on at least a 50 team field)
Fishing hours: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Fishing area: Starved Rock Dam to New Orleans, LA.
(All teams must leave from and return to Barto Landing)
"Party"
to follow tournament starts at
3:00 p.m. at the Spring Valley Boat Club
Food-beer-soda provided for for all participants.
This is a great event and party....don't miss out!
